Bad experience at Mumbai Airport : Never fly with Deccan Airways

My Flight details were -
————————————
Flight No.DN-841,From mumbai to Kolkata, Actual Departure Date and time
31/05/200821.05PM, actual Arrival Date and time 31/05/2008 23.30PM
————————————
I was traveling from Mumbai to Kolkata with above flight details, I got 1st SMS at 8.30Pm that our flight got delayed due to bad weather and it will arrive at 11.30Pm, then again got another SMS this time they said at 12.30 AM, then 1.30 AM, then all angry passengers stormed through security check and start questioning Deccan airlines authorities, then at 3.00AM they said flight is canceled cause Pilot of the flight crossed the max limit of flight hours…… after that what happened just watch at video….
after so much of protest… pilot arrived with griny face.. and we reached kolkata at 6.30AM I guess i forgot the exact time… coz i was so much exhausted with this whole Deccan airlines drama….we all were so pissed off that we all swear that we’ll take train but not Deccan……. after all this the co-pilot when landed at kolkata airport had courage and with audacity of hope announced “sorry for the inconvenience caused, hope you’ll give us another chance to serve you….” something like that i don’t remember the exact word but thats height…..

Lucky or Unlucky?

sperm-and-ovaToday early morning around 2.23 AM, I’ve got hot discussion with my friend over luck, lucky and unlucky.

His point
there is no such thing called luck so there is no point of being lucky or unlucky, no matter how lucky we are, if we don’t do anything then nothing happens we end up doing nothing then what luck is all about if you are ending up with nothing just wishing that something great will happen to you cause you are lucky in fact your luck will make you unlucky if you just rely on that and do nothing.

My stand –
There is some…thing which we call luck I don’t know what exactly it is but governs our life and the deciding factor between success and failure.

Then how we get this so called luck?

Nothing is predetermined in our universe, no one can tell you what will happen NEXT, our life or you can call destiny (I don’t wanted to use that word cause that’s lil DEEP)… our life is run by a computing LOGIC of 0 and 1, Yes or No, that is…YES our life is run by logic of CHOICES.

To be Lucky: If we make right choice at right time at right place then we get success and we call our self lucky.

To get Unlucky: If we make wrong choice at wrong time at wrong place then we get failure and we call our self unlucky.

Perfect example of luck is the case of one sperm out of millions who fertilise Ova, the luckiest one right from the start makes right move at the right time takes right direction and ultimately finds the Ova.

I believe to be lucky we need to be in motion, be in right place and right time to make right choices, but again no one can tell you where is the right place, what is right time and right choices, it is the unknown factor the deciding factor between success and failure which leads you there and creates something we often call our destiny.

Is it that, the lucky people are destined to get success and unsuccessful people are destined to get unlucky.

It’s quite confusing because everything is intertwined in this universe.

Sometimes I also feel that there is no such thing called luck, it is us who writes our destiny but then I see many people who do sooooooo much of hard work and end up with nothing and others who do nothing still gets everything in their life.

First fan mail

It’s been nearly a year since I’ve started writing on my self discovery blog before that I did wrote many articles on different blogs but most of them were technical mumbo jumbo, but I started self discovery with the mind of writing specially under my  personal developments and findings.

So far I have-

14 posts, 5 pages, 2 drafts, contained within 10 categories and 16 tags, 19 total comments, 17 approved, 2 spam and 0 awaiting moderation

so far so good…

I’m very irrugular about writing and 14 posts in 11 months 5 days is far too less but i’m hoping for discovering more and writing regularly.

A while ago i’ve got my first fan mail about the apprecition for my writing, I’m very glad to know that people are reading my blog, cause I hardly do anything to promote my blog and also I don’t know how friendly is Google to my site although I’ve tweaked it with SEO dos and donts.

What do you want from your life?

Yesterday I went to a Training Programme on “New Age Marketing” by Prof. Dr. P.K. Ghosh of IIM Ahmedabad conducted by HCCI.

I really liked the way of teaching of these IIM guys they don’t teach u but they spark out ideas from your dead grey cells, every time he focused upon our conceptualisation, creative thinking and digging harder.

before that training he sent a thick study material with a case study to go through just like IIM or Harvard or any other B school do, while I was going through that a day before yesterday, I stuck upon a question - “what’s your strength and weaknesses”, it’s true that zillions times we mould and prepare this question for interview according to it’s Job Discription.

But if I really have to dig harder and find out my actual SWs then I find it’s very tough job although it’s all about me, where as when we are asked to find out SWOT of other then we easily jot down many points just like that but when it’s about us we just stuck up may be we just don’t wanna accept our inner true self.

after that there was question what do u wanna from ur life? answer in long term goal (15 year) and short term (year) well i jot down under health, fincial, family, social, personal category still i’m not sure about what i really want from my life…

I mean even if I achieve all the goals, I’m not sure I’ll be happy, cause happiness is something that I believe you won’t get by accomplishing certain goals, it’s okay that when we achieve some mile stones in life we do get some happiness but that happiness is not long lasting, it lasts for few moments one night party then it’s over, some hang over do left but again from third day you feel emptiness you feel for achieving something more.

When do we get sense of contentment? when there is no space left and we feel full, full of happiness which lasts forever, I believe we never get that unless we get enlightened which only few people achieves.

I belive we can get that sense of contentment, fulfillment, every lasting happiness…. if we don’t run to fill that void inside cause we can never be able to fill it, the more we try the more it’ll get deeper.

For the 98% of time we live in our past and future which never exists and we loose our present which is the only real part of our life, all the void and unhappiness arises from past and future but if we live in present moment then our all pain of past and uncertainty of future just go away and that way we can enjoy our life, fill it with ever lasting happiness as long as we live in now.

I think I only want to be happy in life, live in moment now, live my life fully.

“Life Ain’t About How Hard You Hit”

I was watching Rocky Balboa this evening, rented from Bigflix my friends said It’s ain’t that good but I wanted to give a shot cause I’ve seen all five series of Rocky and surely wanna go for it, somehow missed it on theaters, on HBO so thought of renting and it really went with my expectations. I liked last one as other series cause it gives some kind of inner strength, an inspiration to beat all the odds. I loved following lines a lot when Rocky Balboa’s son asked him not to fight cause people will make fool of him and lots of other hard stuff, in reply he said following words -

Rocky Balboa - “You ain’t believe this, but you used to fit right here (on palm). I’d hold you up and say to your monther: “this kid’s gonna be the best kid in the world. This kid’s gonna be somebody better than anybody ever knew” and you grew up good and wonderful, it was great just watching. Every day was like a privilege.

then the time come for you to be your own man and take on the world, and you did. but somewhere along the line, you changed, you stopped being you.

you let people stick a finger in your face and tell you you’re no good and when things got hard, you started looking for something to blame, like a big shadow. I’ll tell you something you already know.

The world ain’t all sinshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are, it’ll  beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.

You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit, It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward.

That’s how winning is done!

Now if you know what you’re worth, go get what you’re worth, you gotta be willing to take the hits and not pointing fingers, saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him or her or anybody! Cowards do that, and that ain’t you! you are better than that!…. Until you start believing in yourself, you ain’t gonna have a life.”

Bottom Line is

“Never give up, never stop believing, no matter how hard you get hit, just keep moving forward

The of Passion Jogging

I was going through Mid-day today while following news stopped me to Google over it,  It’s not the news of coldest day in Minnesota since 2004 that stopped me but the passion of Keith Golke for running that even coldest day couldn’t stopped him and I was thinking many times we make such a silly excuses for not Jogging or excercising now i believe in front of Keith I’ve no excuses left for not jogging or any other work in my TODOs.

Runner Keith Golke of Minneapolis resembles an icicle while jogging around Lake Calhoun Tuesday morning, on the coldest day in Minnesota since 2004. An Arctic blast has descended on much of the midwest causing temps to plummet with record breaking lows approaching minus 40 degrees in parts of North Dakota.(AP Photo/Star Tribune, David Joles, Picture Credit)
