..I had boarded the flight once when Deccan was known for its cheap rate ( before kingfisher or spice jet came into scene ) .. so my journey was from New Delhi – Guwahati. Usually it takes 2 and half hours. was expecting some light refreshments thinking since it was cheap. It was my first journey in Deccan. there were many at times rattling sound and could see those wings shaking in the winds. at one point got very scared too. such was not the case in Jet/IA. It was 3 hours elt the plane was hijakedand finally it landed in some unknown rural / in midst of agriculutural fields. then heard it had reached DIbrugarh! To my surprise we were not informed about it. the flight took off after half an hour to Guwahati and finally reached after 5 hours. Strange journey–New DELhi – Guwahati meant New Delhi —Dibrugarh (drop passengers and pick those leaving for Delhi –Guwahati (drop and pick those who are leaving for Delhi)–then leave for delhi…horiible. Since then I never opt for Deccan nd will never opt. If at any means u travll to NE … opt either Jet AIrways or Indian Airlines
